HOUSTON, TX (February 2010): The American Marketing Association is hosting a number of upcoming interactive events that promise to engage audience members.
The monthly luncheon, scheduled February 10, will feature Ken Sheirr, Director of Marketing for the Houston Rockets. The lively luncheon discussion on “How the Houston Rockets Created a ‘Red Nation’ Using Customer Experience Marketing Strategies” will discuss their newest experience based marketing campaign which has been successful in engaging both fans and the community. Their topic, ” Bridging the C-Suite Gap: CEOs, CFOs, CIOs and You: How to Build Credibility for a Seat at the Table” will provide participants with knowledge on how to build a business case and change the conversation that resonates with executives, define key marketing metrics that provide value at all levels of the organization, and develop specific programs that enable growth and ultimately add to the bottom line. On February 26, AMA’s Healthcare SIG will host Cara Zorzi: Associate Director of Marketing, M. D. This panel of experts will discuss the topic, “Outside the Box: Creative Healthcare Marketing,” and will present actual case studies, including the strategy, the tactics, the creative – and the successes, in generating higher levels of brand awareness, patient traffic, employee involvement and community recognition.
