AMA Houston’s Energy Group Showcases Best Practice Case Studies in Industry Communications

HOUSTON, TX (October 16th, 2008): Energy Marketers and Communications Professionals will gather to learn from some of the industry’s award winning marketing and communications strategists from Shell Oil, PFK Texas and Weatherford International on Friday, October 24th.    

Chris Bozman, Deputy Director of Communications of Shell Oil Company will present the program groundwork that led to Shell’s “National Program on Energy Security”, a two-year long, 50-City Tour, with business, educational and civic leaders from around the country, to create a dialogue with America on the challenges and opportunities to achieve U.S. energy security.

Christine Mathers, Corporate Communications Manager, Weatherford International, will discuss Weatherford’s award winning client focused quarterly publication, W Magazine and how this medium helps the company  communicate their technology competencies to clients.  She will also address the company’s decision to continue using a printed medium at a time when digital mediums are soaring.
