HOUSTON, TX (December 17, 2010): As the year comes to a close, there is no better time than now to give back to the community through AMA’s charitable giving, “AMA Houston Gives Back.” This program helps by providing financial support for marketing-related activities to qualified non-profit organizations and individuals.
AMA Houston Gives Back, launched two years ago, impacts the Houston community by helping provide resources for organizations to grow their donor and volunteer bases through marketing. Grants of up to $1,000 are given to the organization’s specific marketing needs.
Since the program’s inception, AMA Houston Gives Back has raised approx $16,000 and has awarded grants to 6 diverse non-profits in need of funds to help underwrite marketing-related efforts. Specific non-profits that AMA Houston has helped include: The Galveston Chamber of Commerce, the Houston Symphony, SEARCH Homeless Service, The Friendship Center, Executive Service Corps of Houston and the Pup Squad Animal Rescue.
AMA Houston is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt nonprofit organization. All donations are tax deductible. Corporate and Individual partnership levels include Leadership Partner, Supporting Partner, Community Partner and Individual Supporter.
